The 2025 Dave Sheets Memorial Ranch Rodeo is officially in the books, and we couldn’t be prouder.

To our contestants: You all brought the grit (especially in the cow milking). Every run in that arena honored the ranching way of life and the man this memorial is all about. Thanks for loading up and coming to compete.đŸ€

To the Grant County Fair Board: Thank you for giving us the space and support to host this ranch rodeo during fair week. The coordination and behind-the-scenes work you put in doesn’t go unnoticed, and we appreciate every bit of it.

To our community: There’s nothing like seeing the stands full of neighbors, friends, and families cheering on the teams. Your support makes this ranch rodeo more than a competition—it makes it a celebration of everything rural Nebraska stands for. Also, that calcutta was đŸ€Ż

To our cattle donors: None of this happens without good stock, and you all delivered. Thank you for trusting us with your cattle, even if we did mix up Dillon Hebbert’s good bulldogging steer with a different herd. Thanks for forgiving us, bud. đŸ€Ł

To our helpers—you’re the unsung heroes. The ones setting up panels, loading cattle, running gates, and doing about a hundred little jobs no one notices until they’re not done. You kept everything smooth from daylight to dark, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

We’ll catch you back here next summer for the 2026 Dave Sheets Memorial Ranch Rodeo—same time, same arena, and if we have anything to say about it
 even bigger and better.
