Summer’s got us wishing we were lapping multi pins with our friends at today.

Did you know that Hole #9 was one of the very first Charcoal Golf prints? Also available is Hole #4, “King”. Fun fact, the Sweetens Cove paintings were diluted and painted with Tennessee whiskey as the watercolor base. Great work from the gang and .

The honor & the challenge…. When the said paint us #7 I was thrilled! The homeland of golf. The challenge, the golf looks different over there, and #7 at Covesea Links on the far north coast of Scotland is one of the most unique holes in the world.

From an art perspective I’m traditionally looking for bunkering, multiple tee boxes, unique fairways. Covesea’s 7 had none of that. What it does have is a completely blind tee shot over a bluff. And it looks fun as hell!

Such an honor to work on this piece. The featured art in the book is a case study style sketch. The final painting added the gritty details, yardages, location, artifacts, and is now available for print sales on our site. This one’s obscure!
