There will be a Spookwalk: a Carnival in Dillon Nature Center volunteers meeting on Saturday at 10 am at the Flag Theatre...If you wish to assist with set up or teardown...or you want to participate in the event as a costumed performer...BE AT THIS MEETING! Please 😁

The event follows the paths through Dillon Nature Center as a carnival with games, static displays and anaimatronics, dinosaurs, and a medley of collected items through the history of the event... its aimed at children and families...so while there are ghosts and skeletons...its all safe fun.

1 day until "Harper Lee's To Kill A Mockingbird" will make it Kansas premier at The Flag Theatre, 310 North Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. The Family Community Theatre is the 1st theatre in Kansas to produce Aaron Sorkin's adaptation of Harper Lee's classic novel.

In just 4 days you will be able to see the Kansas premier of Aaron Sorkin's adaptation "Harper Lee's To Kill A Mockingbird." The show opens at The Flag Theatre on October 1 and will run through Sunday, October 4. Did you know there were 4 items found in the knothole in the live oak? 2 whittled dolls and 2 pieces of chewing gum. What does that have to do with the story? Who would leave this objects? Come see the drama to learn.
Dill, is brought to life by Jonathan Trammel, Jem, is played by David Kirdyashev, and Elise Henry creates Scout.

It is time to begin preparation for the annual Not-So-Scary Spook Walk. The Family Community Theatre and Dillon Nature Center partner to create this Halloween event. It takes several volunteers to make it happen. If you have an interest in being a part of the creative team, please contact Robert Garrett at 620-802-8456. We need people who are willing to help set up, to produce activities, host activities, and help tear down.
The Spook Walk will be at the Dillon Nature Center October 16 and 17. Tickets are available through the Dillon Nature Center.
