I have been invited to teach a painting class at the Reno County Fair this year! I have decided on teaching this curious chicken painting keeping with the ag theme.
Using Golden Fluid Acrylics on a 12" x 16" watercolor canvas, participants will be guided step-by-step through the painting process while exploring techniques that can be applied to future artwork. A line drawing of the subject will be provided for each student on their canvas. We will explore how to complete a value study underpainting during this session and explore a loose impressionist style.
So, if you have been wanting to try this technique, head on over and grab a spot! We will be in the OZ building on Saturday, July 25th from 2:30-4:30pm.

Packing up some pretties today for the Reno County Garden show next weekend! (Saturday, June 13th), I had my date wrong! I will have mini original paintings, and some new shadowbox paintings available, along with prints!
Vendors will be located at the HCC Gardens from 9am-2pm
