This guy here has spent more time with me than anyone else I know. Chapo is with me 24-7 literally. He will go ape sh@4 crazy if we leave him alone. You can guarantee the destruction of anything in the way of he and us. There is no kennel secure enough, or no tether strong enough to keep him from being with us. The stories I could tell you would paint him in a bad light, but I know he did those things coz they were in the way of US TIME. He knows with me it’s always an adventure, boat rides, trips to the lake, to the river, Hiking trails, and chasing squirrels & rabbits make his life complete. Only I take him on these adventures. I know I’d go crazy if I couldn’t go fishing so I get it.

I want to send a huge thank you to everyone who reached out to me over my last post. I literally had 100’s of people send texts, DM’s, phone calls, & stopped by for shop visits. THANK YOU. Before I got out of prison all I was told was how hard it was going to be out here, that no one would want to give me a chance because of my past. Well YOU ALL have certainly proved all those morons wrong. I’ve never felt more love and appreciation, especially from this community. To know how many of you have my back and support our dreams , is mind blowing to me. The reason for posting that was to show you all just one part of this journey I’m on. I just wanted YOU ALL to see how I handle and respond to adversity. Even when I don’t get the outcome I desire, Melissa and I go above and beyond to help even more animals and more people. It’s what we do. Stay tuned to see how we’ll be serving others.. thank you for all the love and for keeping us busy. A special thank you for my Facebook family and friends, you all are the absolute best. Come on fam Facebook is outdoing ya’ll.

Couldn’t wait to get home and chill, then I checked the mail and bam once again they do it to me again. No matter how good I do it does NOT matter. 25 years.7 months. In prison and another 10 years and counting on Parole. They aren’t done fu***ng with my life yet. I never asked for early discharge. Both times my parole officers ,(THE ONES WHO HAVE DIRECT CONTACT WITH ME AND THE ONES WHO KNOW ME ON A PERSONAL LEVEL) have been the ones to initiate it and of course I get my hopes up. I must never forget, TO THEM, “I’m not human, I’m just a number “ I WILL ALWAYS BE A CRIMINAL . What these people have been doing to my mental health over the last three decades has prepared me for these moments. Yes it sucks, but Melissa and I do what we do because it’s in our hearts. Find ANYONE in the Department of corrections who’s contributed and give back as much as we have to our community. We put our money where our mouth is, this isn’t just a job. I gave my word to my family of my loved ones that I would do whatever it took to be a free man and to be with them. Nothing‘s changed, the mission remains the same no matter where I be. Melissa and I are here to make an impact. We’re here to rescue lives and do some bad ass tattoos. The roadblocks keep-a-comin but I know how to lose. It’s not always victories and sunshine. A MAN’S TRUE CHARACTER WILL REVEAL ITSELF IN THE FACE OF ADVERSITY . Think twice before you let these people in authority have control over your life. I’m about to be 52 years old and for some reason they believe I need a babysitter still. To everyone who rocks with me thank you for believing in me. Melissa and I are very grateful for you all in our lives. Thank you for listening to my rant. Now let’s go serve some time 🤣
