Ever wonder what happens behind the scenes to bring the Kansas State Fair to life? Meet our Marketing Team, BowerComm!

From year-round planning, promotions and advertising, to capturing all the action during the Fair, this team does it all! They’re behind the cameras, shooting video, editing on the fly and helping us share the memories, moments and traditions that make the Fair so special.

Thanks for helping us celebrate Kansas, America at the 2026 Fair!

Bryan Schulz, General Manager, shares a few highlights from this year, by the numbers:
👥 330,924 fairgoers came through the gates
🎃 1,350-pound giant pumpkin
🐎Budweiser Clydesdales 8-horse hitch made 2 parades around the fairgrounds
🪣121,254 pounds of sand shaped into the America 250 sculpture
🐄 891 Grand Drive exhibitors | $186,000 in premiums | $10,000 in scholarships
🎤 5,041 fans at our top concert: Trace Adkins with Phil Vandel & Delissa Dawn
🥁 105 high school bands with 4,814 students performing
🎨 5,929 competitive exhibits entered
🎢 4,013 five-ride passes sold
🍿 126 concessions + 445 vendors and exhibitors across the grounds

Celebrating Our Outstanding Exhibitors! 🏆

There’s a lot of talent, creativity and hard work behind the booths and concessions at the Kansas State Fair — and each year, we take a little time to recognize some of the standouts!

Our Commercial Exhibitor Awards celebrate exhibitors who go above and beyond in creating an inviting, memorable experience for Fair guests.

For some, the Kansas State Fair isn’t just a 10-day event — it’s a lifelong tradition. ️
Many of our vendors have been part of the Fair for decades, with some celebrating 60 years on the Fairgrounds!

Each year, the Kansas State Fair Board and Staff recognize vendors for their dedication, service and commitment to the Fair. These awards celebrate the people and businesses who help create the familiar faces, great experiences and traditions that make the Kansas State Fair so special.

To all of our vendors, whether this is your first Fair or your 60th — thank you for being part of the Kansas State Fair family, year after year!
