The Mary Magdalene House is a mission of hope for individuals and families in crisis. There will be no charge for counseling sessions.

No matter the struggle—addiction, adoption, mental health, or a difficult chapter—we offer a listening ear, compassion, and support when it’s needed most. The Mary Magdalene House is a non-profit organization walking with families in need of support while a family member is walking through mental illnesses. We operate strictly on donations.

We are excited for the upcoming Bazaar and Auction. We have begun getting the details in place. We are always thankful for those of you who donate to the auction and help us make it a great day. If you are would like to donate a basket, we would like to have those by November 21st. Thank you for supporting us!

Come see us at Feel Fest Saturday October 10th from 12-5pm downtown, Hutchinson. We will have lots of information to share about what is going on at The Mary Magdalene House.

The Amazon wish list has been updated. We are unable to add the direct link on FB or Instagram without paying for the link. I do not feel that is an appropriate way of spending our money at this time. I have included a QR code which bi-passes the need for the link in the message or you can go to our webpage and find the link.

We will be having our first 2 birthday parties for the shelter next week. If you would like to help with the pizza there are Papa John gift cards. We also have some decorations to make the party fun.

The Next Steps Connection group is open for registration. Betty Bachman understands how hard loss can be. This is a 2 night class where you will be given a safe place to express your grief and share the lives of your loves ones. You will need to go to our webpage to register. (fb is now charging for links, so I am limiting what we link)

If you know someone who could benefit from this connection group, feel free to come with them. Sometimes all healing needs is a friend that cares.

A couple nights ago we had Dude's game night. ( I know I am a little slow at getting it posted).
Dude's game night is a night when we invite Dudes to come hang out. Many of our guys in recovery enjoy this evening because it is a "safe" place to hang out without all the temptations.
The next Dude's game night will be in January. (still working on a set date) We look forward to inviting in, not only our recovery community, but any Dude who needs to feel accepted. You are welcome here.

Understanding why kids behave the way they do can make a huge difference—whether you’re a parent, teacher, social worker, foster parent, church volunteer, or anyone who works with children.

Foster Families. These families are amazing. I like to remind people that Foster child really means orphan.

We at The Mary Magdalene House understand the commitment and heartache that comes with Fostering. We understand what looks like a normal day can quickly turn into chaos. When a family commits to loving Foster kids, they commit to all the unknowns.

This coming Sunday, October 11th is our Fall Foster/Adoptive family get together. Families who love the orphans deserve a safe place to come together. We are offering this space with dinner, bouncy houses, crafts and cotton candy.

Please help us by inviting the families in your neighborhood, work place, church...to join us for our Fall event. Help us celebrate the sacrifices they give to love our precious children.
