The votes are in for the 2026 People’s Choice Contest!

This year’s theme was *Barnyard*, with entries displayed in the Open Class buildings and winners chosen by fair attendees rather than a judge.

Congratulations to each department’s People’s Choice winner, and thank you to everyone who entered and helped make the contest such a fun part of the fair.

And for those already thinking ahead, the 2027 People’s Choice theme is *AUTUMN!*

That’s a wrap on the 2026 McLeod County Fair! Join us next year Aug 19th-22nd 2027!

Thank you to everyone who attended, exhibited, competed, volunteered, performed, sold, sponsored and helped make this year’s fair incredible.

And a special thank you to our Fair Board, whose countless hours behind the scenes make this event what it is.

We’re grateful for another great year. See you in 2027!

We hope everyone who joined us this weekend made some great memories, found a new favorite and enjoyed everything the McLeod County Fair has to offer.

It’s the final day of the McLeod County Fair, and there is still plenty to see and do.

Join us today for worship service, the Classic & Custom Car and Bike Show, 4-H events, family entertainment, live music, midway rides and more before we wrap up another great fair.

Today’s highlights include the Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Welcome Home Recognition Program, Xtreme Demo Derby in the grandstand at 4 p.m. and live music throughout the day.
