We’re excited to welcome Sophie Enterprises to the Hurricane Renaissance Faire.

Sophie Enterprises creates handmade original crochet designs with a strong fantasy, medieval, and magical influence, especially in their clothing. They also make fruit and vegetable themed pieces, bringing a fun olde market feel to their selection. Their fantasy cardigans have already been a standout at other faire events.

WEATHER UPDATE (5/22)

We are continuing to monitor the forecast for the Hurricane Renaissance Faire and are still planning to move forward with the event.

At this point, we expect the grounds to be wet, and some sporadic rain is possible during the day. Some models are showing less rain than earlier projections, but there is still a chance of showers, and thunderstorm chances appear more likely later in the day.

What guests should know:

Rain alone will not stop the faire.
Please dress for outdoor weather.
Wear shoes that can handle wet or muddy ground.
Bring rain gear if you have it.

Some activities or performances may shift if rain becomes heavy or if conditions require adjustments.

If thunder or lightning occurs, we may temporarily pause outdoor activities.

If a lightning pause is needed, guests may be directed to seek safer shelter, including returning to vehicles. The pavilion can help with rain, but it is not large enough to shelter the full crowd and should not be treated as the event’s lightning shelter plan.

We are watching the forecast closely and will continue making safety-based decisions throughout the day. We can’t wait to welcome everyone to the faire.

Every realm has its keepers of knowledge. Stormshire has Nameless.

No one is entirely sure where he came from, and asking too many questions about it tends to earn you a grin, a wink, and no useful answer at all. What is known is that Nameless has made it his business to collect the stories, rumors, records, and odd truths of the Bearwood Realm.

If there is a strange creature in the forest, a forgotten bit of guild history, or a tale whispered in the corner of a tavern, chances are Nameless has written it down somewhere.

He is charming, curious, suspiciously well-connected, and far more informed than any goblin has a right to be.

As the faire draws near, keep an eye out for his notes. Around Stormshire, even the smallest scrap of lore may point you toward something important.
