Thanks for a little bit of history

to 1723 and the Van Dusen House in Hurley, NY. The Van Duden family is one of New York (and America’s) oldest families.
This home was used as the temporarily state capital after the 1777 evacuation of Kingston. British troops stormed through the City and burned over 300 buildings in October of that year.
The shutters are painted Van Dusen blue, a historical color introduced in 1976 in honor of America’s Bicentennial 🇺🇸
We have chosen to used Van Dusen blue as our brand color since we launched.
