Some things are bigger than a festival.

ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, affects more than the person diagnosed. It touches spouses, children, parents, friends, caregivers, and entire families.

Through the Rocket City Cigar & Whiskey Festival, we’re honored to support the ALS Association.

A portion of every ticket helps fund awareness, resources, and support for those living with ALS and the people who care for them.

We’ll come together for great ci**rs, exceptional whiskey, live entertainment, and good company.

But we’ll also come together for a cause that matters.

Because community matters.

Because family matters.

Because showing up for one another matters.

Today we lost a good man and staple in our community, Fred Scarborough.

If you ever walked into The Cigar Room, chances are you were greeted by Fred from his recliner with a warm smile and an even warmer spirit.

He never met a stranger, and no conversation with Fred was complete without hearing, "I love ya."

His presence brought comfort, laughter, and genuine connection to so many. Today our hearts are heavy as we reflect on the memories, conversations, and brotherhood we shared with him.

Tonight we light up in tribute to a man who was not only a brother but someone who made everyone feel like family.
Rest easy, Fred.
Until we meet again.
