👀 ATTN: If you are a High School Senior Theatre Student from one of the participating schools in The 2026 Tallulah Awards:

We will award a total of three (3) scholarships for $5,000 each (Performing Arts, Technical Theatre & Arts Education). Recipients must be present at The Tallulah Awards on May 17, 2026 to win.

Students must be enrolled in a Fall 2026 term and intend to pursue one of the fields listed above through university, a conservatory or another academic program designed to further their career in the corresponding discipline.

Alabama theatre kids are the best!! 🌟

Around 80 North Alabama high school students had the opportunity to learn, sing and dance with the leading actress of the traveling Broadway musical &Juliet, which is in Huntsville through Sunday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TALLULAH BANKHEAD (1902–1968)!

She was a celebrated, fiercely independent American actress known for her husky voice, quick wit, and flamboyant personality. Born on this day (1902) in Huntsville, Alabama into a prominent political family, she achieved fame on the London stage in the 1920s before starring in Broadway hits like The Little Foxes and Hitchcock’s Lifeboat.
