✨ WOULD YOU BE INTERESTED? — VAULTED INK BARTER DAY ✨
I’ve been thinking about doing something a little different at Vaulted Ink, and before I officially put it on the calendar, I want to see if there’s enough interest.
One of the reasons I became a tattoo artist was because I genuinely believe art should be accessible.
Tattooing isn’t always just something fun we put on our bodies. Sometimes it’s how we remember someone we lost. Sometimes it’s reclaiming a part of ourselves. Sometimes it’s a reminder of our strength, our faith, our family, or simply something that makes us happy when we look in the mirror.
At the same time, I know life gets expensive.
And while I still have studio expenses, supplies and a family to support, I haven’t lost sight of why I started doing this.
So I’m considering hosting a:
🔐 VAULTED INK BARTER DAY — TRADE FOR TATTOOS
Instead of paying the entire cost of your tattoo traditionally, you could make me an offer.
Have a skill? A service? Something useful or valuable you’d like to trade? Pitch it to me.
Trades could be products, services, skilled labor, artwork, photography, business services, or something completely unexpected. I’m intentionally leaving this broad because I want to see what you guys come up with.
How it would work:
You send me the tattoo you want + what you’d like to offer in trade.
I’ll consider the tattoo’s normal value against the proposed trade and let you know whether I can accept it.
Not every offer will be accepted, and submitting an offer doesn’t guarantee an appointment. Some offers may also be accepted as a partial trade + cash depending on the tattoo and the value of the trade.
For accepted same-day trades, my goal would be simple:
🤝 We make the trade.
🖤 You get the ink.
For trades involving future services or anything that can’t be exchanged immediately, we’ll use a simple written agreement so everything is clear and fair to both sides.
No judgment. No explaining your financial situation. No proving that you “need” it.
Just two people exchanging something of value.
