I was very please to be asked to ceate an event poster for the occasion and while they played inside due to weather I wanted to capture the really cool backyard vibe and I look forward to more shows throughout the summer there. Hope you had an amazing birthday !!

Recently I was asked to produce a piece of artwork that would serve as an iconic remembrance of Stone Anderson.

I can't take credit for the idea of creating an illustration of Stone's T.Shepard bass but I can recognize a good idea when I hear one. As soon as I heard the idea, this slightly cartoony but accurate depiction of his bass popped into my head. I hope that everyone who knew Stone and enjoyed his company and his music will like this drawing as much as I enjoyed creating it. Thanks to for the idea and the amazing stickers and print quality!

Well, this file is starting to make my go slooooow! I keep telling myself it will all be worth it in the end.

Every layer has its own texture, highlights, shadows, rim layer, and of course another 2 cast shadow layers.

alert! I've been toying around with this paper cutout style ala (who I absolutely love!) and think it would be cool for a window box/postcard/pop-up book splash page for my website. I'm redesigning from the ground up to highlight my newly aquired UX skills that I've been learnin' in the user Experience Grad program and though this has nothing to do with UX necessarily, I still want my portfolio website to look dang snazzy too! I do have a Bachelor's degree in fine arts after all.

This has been a rough year and even rougher couple of weeks. I've been sporadically buying oil painting supplies over the last week or so, getting ready (at least in my mind) to be creative and artistic again. I still have a few things to purchase before I'm ready to launch into this thing and it will probably be a little longer before I share any artwork but I'm excited to start something new. Featured here is the $1.07, red "brush dryer" I got a Walmart. What's that you say? It's an ashtray? Nah, brush dryer all the way!
