I am an artist located in Huntsville, AL in a studio at Lowe Mill ARTS&Entertainment. My work centers on dreamy/surreal scifi/aerospace imagery as well as hilarious spacey pet portraits. My works are primarily hand-painted in acrylic ink on watercolor paper, though I also experiment with painting on other surfaces such as metal, wood panel, and occasionally canvas, and even less occasionally, digi

tal. I offer originals as well as prints and stickers. I also offer custom framing with riveted metal borders as an add-on. I am also available by commission, for pet portraits, album art, as well as dreamy ideas of your/mine you’d like to hang up in your house as a finished painting. About the weird name:

So why Ethereal Geometry? It's a name that came to me as I was redrawing differently one of the first original art ideas I had years ago. It goes hand in hand with the meaning of No More Horizon(one of my longest series) and Surreal Heights--the idea of seeing dreams become reality, heaven and earth, night and day, the world inside becoming the world outside, etc. It's the idea of building something eternal, building from the world within. It's all about (re)discovering who we really are through exploring the inner creative world. I hope my work speaks to you in a way only you can understand, and says more to you than words ever could.

Can I be done yet? Nope, not until it looks exactly like it COULD look! That’s ADHD perfectionism. But for the most part this one has been mostly excitement and experimentation, painting something in a way I’ve never painted anything by before.

Something I saw very vividly one time in an attempt to meditate. I call it “Updraft” - I do intend on doing a more detailed version but this is the color study as I figure out what colors I want to use. Still might tweak this a little bit, but who knows.

I had every intention of painting this and talking about it with my uncle, who was always been the biggest spiritual mentor in my life, as I felt this carries heavy symbolism and spiritual meaning. Especially seeing that vividly during an attempt to meditate.

I think he would have liked it.

I’m very happy to say these two went to their new home. The client was drawn to the metaphysical / spiritual side of my work and saw something in the first one titled “Give Me the Moon” - which I describe as the inner longing for the indescribable. The Galileo probe and the tree represent two aspects of our humanity - the physical makeup and how things are wired to perceive things (and the logical mind), and the inner being or Spirit / intuition reaching towards what our logical mind cannot quite comprehend, yet we dream of it anyway as the innocent childlike nature within us always has.
The second one - “Star Fish IV” is simply fun and quirky with a nice attention to the framing - which I have been fascinated and experimenting with the past year or two.
Prints are available of both - on paper or aluminum

These three have also gone to their new home. When my work/play/creations resonate with the right person and go to their new homes, it’s an indescribable feeling. I love that I am getting to do what I feel like I’m made for, creating fun worlds for people to get lost in—Creating visuals, often with tactile elements these days, that resonate with people And find them like messages in a bottle. And the thing I love about pencil drawing is the meditative feeling in the process. But also that I can just draw like I did when I was a kid and create fun things without the pressure of it having to be a masterpiece. That’s what my “Outpost” series was about in the first place— creating fun and relaxing habitats for the imagination to escape to and explore.
1. John Voyage - “it’s still progress, even in the face of hindrance”
2. Bonsai Spaceport - “Yeah, I like this one too… satisfying, isn’t it?”
3. Squirrel Sky Station - “Squirrel brain is a creative brain”
**These are all available as Prints. DM to order!**

Thank you everybody who visited me at my tent at Panoply Arts Festival, especially those of you who purchased artwork. It means the world to me and helps me keep doing what I love to do, and helps me to continue living out what I’m here for... I had to take a few days off to give myself a mental break and tend to family. While I was there, I was happy to find good homes for these two as well as a few others.
Slide 1: VRBO Outpost - one of my favorite things I’ve painted, part of my Outpost series, which started as a stress relief, kind of procrastination project to do artwork that was just fun and relaxing, and not tied to any kind of narrative.
Slide 2: Boinnnggg Schnarleiner- this framed print, and the original went to get Homs this weekend. Painted in powdered graphite on watercolor paper and intended as a ridiculous take on a sort of retro sci-fi toy rocket.
I’ll post more pictures of the other stuff that sold. Prints are still available of these. Thinking about testing them out as Metal Prints as well..
