Comic Science Improv

Comic Science Improv Comic Science Improv is a north-Alabama-based troupe of actors who perform hilarious sketches based You tell us what to do, we make it hilarious.

Our shows are a collection of short scenes in which we play improv "games" -- anything from speaking only in questions to reinterpreting favorite movies -- based on suggestions from the audience. If you've ever seen "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" "Thank God You're Here" or "Trust Us With Your Life," you have some idea of what we do, but our shows are made better by the fact that our scene suggestions

are coming from YOU, and not some Hollywood studio audience! Our troupe features many actors from long-time Huntsville improv company Face2Face Improv, and we draw the foundations of what we do from that group. We're honored to again be recognized as a local favorite in the Rocket City Mom awards! Thanks to everyone who voted for us! Our next show is one month from today; we'd love to see you there!!

We are SO excited to announce the 2026 Rocket City Mom Family Favorite Award winners!

A huge congratulations to every business and organization on this list. You are a big part of what makes North Alabama such an incredible place to raise a family.

What makes this award extra special? It belongs entirely to this community. Every single nomination and every single vote came straight from our readers, because who better to ask than thousands of local parents?

This year was a close one! Several categories came down to the final hour, which honestly just proves how many amazing businesses and attractions we are lucky to have right here in North Alabama.

We also have something NEW this year! We noticed a major surge in nominations for businesses outside the immediate Rocket City area, so we created the Orbit Winner award to highlight those fantastic spots across North Alabama that are absolutely worth the drive.

And because of YOUR feedback on new categories, we are officially expanding the awards list for 2027. We love this community so much.
