It's December 23rd. Did you forget anyone? Worried your wife won't fully appreciate the ironing board or the bathroom scale you got her? Worried the popsicle stick ornament you made for your mom just won't cut it? I got ya covered.

For the first time ever, I'm offering gift certificates. Available in $300, $150, and $75 denominations. What kind of art can you get with those options? I'll break it down-

$300 will get you a small pet portrait; a small, loose, alla prima style portrait of your child (this price for a limited time only); or 2 5"x7" paintings of your choice.

$150 will get you a 4"x4"- 5"x7" pet portrait, a 5"x7" painting of your choice, or a few prints

$75 will get you 2 or 3 prints or sketches.

All amounts can be applied toward a larger painting.

*Gift card holders will get first dibs on new work. In other words- if the recipient doesn't know what he or she wants, they can hold on to their gift card until a piece that really speaks to them pops up. I'll give them first look before new work is made available to the public. *

This was so fun to watch! did an amazing job at the meeting this morning. His demonstration of the techniques he used to create a body of work for Birmingham's upcoming residential treatment center for eating disorders was fascinating. Kudos, Caleb! 👏

Teeny little charcoal portrait on pastel paper. I mostly use vine charcoal, but I love General's charcoal pencils when I need a sharper, tiny detail.

I will never get tired of the number of colors you can find in a 3" patch of a person's skin. Lavenders, oranges, pinks, greens...I'll do a long post soon talking about skintones, but for now, just look around you. People are really beautiful.
