Most everybody knows a place like Upper Hurricane Road - a road that gets you from here to there, but also shows you things along the way. A place where time slows down and you find yourself driving under the speed limit. A place where you stop the truck, get out, and have a look around. And if you don't know such a place ... plan a trip. Take a drive. Get out and look around. It's good for the soul.

This photo session took multiple drive-by attempts. I knew the shot I wanted, but there was nowhere to pull my car over and too much traffic to stop in the road (unsafe - do not do that). So after much driving and planning, I made one last run and shot seven frames on the last pass and hoped for the best. I'm happy with the result.
