Greetings all, Killer Queen will be on free play Saturday May 11th from noon til 5:00. Parents, come and hang out on the Straight to Ale patio and your kids will have free entertainment for all afternoon. The game is really easy to learn and fun for all ages.

Greetings all,

Ronnie's will be doing its first customer appreciation night this Thursday 4/11/24 from 4-7. This will entail some free pizza and free credits and tutorials on a select game. I'm hoping to do this once or twice a month and this week's game is Stern Star Wars and I'll be doing a tutorial on the modes and rules and about 6:30 I'll take the glass off and complete all the modes and get the game into jedi multiball which I've honestly never seen. Then I'll cycle power before the score can count :)

There might be a funky format competition as well. Prize TBD.

I know a bunch of regulars will be showing up but everyone is invited. Come on by and learn how to complete modes on Star Wars. I've completed every mode on the game but my PR in a single game is 6 out of the 8 needed for jedi multiball (I hit that yesterday)

There's been quite a bit of confusion recently with the beverage policy at Ronnie's with the beverages in the red "no" circle so I had an explanatory sign added and here's all the details. Note!! Ronnie's is part of the Straight to Ale Brewery which drives the rules.

1) Straight to Ale alcoholic beverages are not only allowed in Ronnie's but are encouraged. Heck, there's a cup holder on every pinball machine.

2) Outside food is not allowed as Ronnie's is essentially part of the STA taproom and you shouldn't bring food into a restaurant right? Food from the taproom is good to go in Ronnie's at any time and it can be ordered at the bar or the merch counter and picked up at the bar as to-go food.

3) Outside alcohol is not only NOT ALLOWED in Ronnie's but it is ILLEGAL to consume on Straight to Ale premises. If you're caught bringing outside alcohol into Ronnie's you have three options, chug it, dump it, or leave. And yes, there have been problems with this historically and it will be enforced.

Updated code on 9 Stern machines today. While I was at it I reset the high scores on all the Stern machines in the arcade. Enjoy setting all those high scores!

Today's PSA. There's a website, pinside.com, which is all things pinball including pinball rankings and they have a top 100 pinball list. Of the top ten most highly rated pinball machines (currently) Ronnie's has nine (1-9) and of the top fifteen Ronnie's has an even dozen. I suspect that Foo Fighters might hit top fifteen in the near future as well.

There will be a March pinball league at Ronnie's. The first three Sundays will be pingolf format with an IFPA sanctioned tournament on the 4th Sunday. If you're looking for something to do on a Sunday afternoon around 3-6 this is it! The first three weekends are a self-paced and self-scored pingolf format where you play 9 games to complete a pingolf course. On each "hole" you try to accumulate a score or accomplish an objective and however many balls it takes is your score on that hole. I also added selfie course which can be explained if you play league. For the pingolf rounds you can show up any time during a 3-4 hour window and play your games so this is a very schedule friendly league.

Hi everybody. Fun times at the Friday knockout! Thank you to Jeff Sanders for letting us beat the hell out of his machines. ;-) Seriously though, yes we tilted a bunch. We'll get used to the new settings and it'll be fine. Congrats to Tim, and to all who participated. This is the 4th tournament for our new friends. One more and they'll be rated. They're really improving. We all need to pitch in and coach them up. Jay was doing real well.......until Spiderman. Sorry brother. You'll kick butt tomorrow at league final!
