A Panthers victory AND a show in the sky! 🌕🎺🏈

Thursday night was a great one at Milton Frank! We cheered on the Panthers to a win over Mae Jemison, performed under the lights, and even had a little extra entertainment as we watched the lunar eclipse progress throughout the game. 🌒

Not a bad way to spend a Thursday night! ❤️🤍💙

Next up: It’s rivalry week! Huntsville vs. Grissom next Friday at Milton Frank—and we’ll be welcoming our future Crimson Panthers for Middle School Night! 🎶🏈

Come spend Friday night with the Huntsville High School Band for Middle School Night on September 4! ❤️💙

Join us before the game for a pizza tailgate, experience our pregame traditions, and then grab your instrument and play with the HHS Band in the stands as the Panthers take on Grissom!

It’s a fun chance to meet our students, experience a high school game night, and see what HHS Band is all about.

🐾🥁 A little Panther spirit for the Wildcats!

This morning, members of our Leadership Team traveled to Sonnie Hereford Elementary to help kick off their PBIS year with an “Under Instruction” Pep Rally!

We had a great time bringing some As Always, Go Big Red energy, playing pep tunes, and helping the Wildcats celebrate a new year focused on success, pride, and excellence. ❤️💙

We always enjoy opportunities to visit our feeder schools, connect with younger students, and share a little of what makes being part of the Crimson Panther Band so much fun!

Thanks to Sonnie Hereford Elementary for inviting us to be part of the celebration!

Before Dolly Parton became a country music icon, she was a high school band student.

Dolly played snare drum in the Sevier County High School marching band, and she later spoke about the impact those experiences—and her band director—had on her musical journey. As her career grew, she continued supporting her former band program through scholarships, instruments, equipment, and uniforms.

Her support for school music didn’t stop there. Over the years, stories also emerged of Dolly quietly helping other school bands with uniforms, instruments, and other needs.

It’s a great reminder of the role high school band can play in a student’s life. The lessons, friendships, confidence, and encouragement students find in a band program can stay with them long after the last football game or concert.

You never really know where a student’s time in band might lead. 🎶

The August 31 deadline for HHS Band Cookbook recipe submissions and pre-orders is getting close.

Friday night = football, friends, and the Crimson Panther Band! 🎺🥁🏈

We had a great night at Milton Frank cheering on the Panthers, making some noise in the stands, and performing under the lights! ❤️🤍💙
