It was a 2 pieces closed form that I cut a hole in
It’s still pretty damp
Will clean in up later

Can’t wait to fire this
So,ok, this is not what I intended
I tried one more pull and it just gave up
So we played
I think the piece is happier this way
I’m thinking ferric chloride on the outside and metallic on the inside
😁

Dang I love making these
Using a new clay
Not a big fan
And after doing a lot in a white clay
The brown is a little disconcerting
Actually this piece has already been sold 😁

Came home from a incredible vacation back home outside of Santa Cruz Ca
Now on to cleaning the studio , that I should have cleaned before vacation
Tomorrow is glazing
And getting the raku kilns back to shape
The burn ban is off where I live
So time to light them up

Cheese cloth with slip
Needs a bisque firing and some crazy glaze
Thinking of raku for this
