Good Morning you Beautiful people! Here is the spotlight for this week. And i have to tell you i don't think i would have had it in me to restore this, But Mr. Eddie saved what was almost impossible here is the story.....
Some cars are bought.
Some cars are built.
And some are brought back from the dead.
Mr. Eddie’s 1967 RS/SS Camaro is one of those builds.
What started as a “20-foot car” — something that looked good from a distance — turned into a full discovery of hidden damage, filler, rust, and years of shortcuts.
Chicken wire.
Newspaper.
Bondo.
Panels too far gone to save.
Most people would have walked away.
He didn’t.
What followed was a full ground-up restoration that took vision, patience, skill, and a whole lot of determination.
New sheet metal.
Frame rails.
Floor pans.
Inner structure.
Piece by piece, this Camaro was rebuilt the right way.
And when it came time to make it his own, he didn’t stop at stock.
A big block with a 6-speed.
Air ride suspension.
Digital gauges.
Cold A/C.
Modern comfort mixed with old-school muscle.
Built to drive. Built to enjoy.
Finished in deep black with custom touches throughout, this isn’t just another first-gen Camaro—it’s Mr. Eddie’s vision brought to life.
But what stood out most wasn’t just the car.
It was the story behind it.
A lifetime around hot rods.
Brothers into cars.
Kids who caught the same passion.
Now grandkids looking at what comes next.
That’s how car culture survives.
Not through trends.
Through family.
Through stories.
Through passing it on.
And after all the time, work, and years invested…
This build had only been finished for around 36 hours when these photos were taken.
That means you’re looking at one of the first public glimpses of this incredible car.
