3 steps for families to have a successful family photo session:

1. Book your photographer! Not just any photographer, but one that you are confident will deliver what you’re looking for. Pick a photographer that meets your budget, and that you feel you can trust. Don’t be afraid to ask to see previous work or ask as many questions as you need to feel comfortable! After all, these photos will be forever.
2. Get your family camera ready; coordinate your outfits. Choose a cohesive color palette (neutrals, earth tones, soft pastels, or rich jewel tones) instead of everyone wearing identical outfits. Avoid large logos, busy patterns, and neon colors. Wear clothing that is comfortable and reflects your family’s personality.
3. Focus on having FUN with your FAMILY: The best photos often come from genuine interactions rather than perfectly posed smiles. Laugh, play, hug, and enjoy your time together. If children need a break or don’t smile on command, don’t stress. Those candid moments often become the most treasured image
