An awesome collaboration that came from our First Saturday markets!
Those that know me, know that I love supporting small businesses… even if it does take a little more arm nudging for me to do it for mine.
I’ve been on the hunt for a leather maker for some time to collaborate with. I know basic leather work and have done simplistic hat bands for my business and personal projects, but I wanted to step up to something more. I just didn’t honestly think it would be in my back yard.
Stephen and Samantha at Misty Vale Leather are excellent at what they do. True artists. I was gifted one of their “Blackwater” note carriers, and I use it daily. I also have one of their belts and it’s truly one of the best made belts I’ve worn in recent years. If you’re in the market for some handcrafted leather goods, seriously give them a shout!
So, we are announcing the “Misty Vale” collection of handcrafted artisan leather hat bands, sold exclusively through Landers Hatworks.
Cannot wait to show off all the cool designs we’ve been cooking up! Hand made, hand finished, hand dyed. Made in the Appalachian mountains, mom and pop style… need I say more?
