Voices of the New Era would like to send many thanks to everyone who braved the winter weather to see us in person this evening, those who tuned in from afar using the St Johns Episcopal Church in Huntington WV’s livestream link (to whom we credit the incredibly beautiful venue for singing in and for graciously hosting our concert), and last but not least- our guest pianist Matt Monnig for playing so beautifully during one of our most beloved pieces in the program!!

Tonight’s second annual concert was a great success and we can’t express enough how grateful we are as a group for your support of the arts, especially in West Virginia. It is what allows this vision of smaller ensembles like ours to come to life. Hope to see you at our next performance; details to come soon!

A few weeks ago, VONE had the unique opportunity to be featured in a concert alongside Marshall University’s Chamber Choir, University Chorus, bringing a two choir arrangement of the hymn “Lo How a Rose” to life. Singing the recognizable melody is our members of VONE, alongside two substitutes for this performance (thank you, Cassidy and Finn!)
