Good afternoon Marching Vikes Families and Supporters!

Below is the link to sign up for your volunteer spot at our 2nd Annual Symphony of Sound Marching Band Invitational on Saturday, September 12th. We need at least one adult representative per band family to make this possible--though more are welcome! This is potentially a $20,000+ fundraiser for our kids, so the more adults we have on hand, the greater an experience we can provide.

For those who were part of the Marching Vikes’ 2016 show, “Challenger,” today I had a humble honor of standing before a piece of the shuttle recovered after the 1986 disaster. This fragment is on display at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Congratulations to Huntington North Band Senior, Molly Ross—our 2026 Salutatorian!

Congratulations to our Huntington North Band Department. Both the Concert Band and Wind Ensemble competed at ISSMA Organizational this evening, earning straight Gold ratings! Wind Ensemble also received a “with distinction” in Group I, the highest difficulty. These ratings mean that for the seventh time in school history—and fourth year in a row—the Huntington North Band Department will be recipients of the ISSMA All-Music Award. Congratulations, Vikings!!!

CALLING ALL ALUMNI: INVITATIONAL PLANNING MEETING - TUESDAY, APRIL 7th

Tomorrow (April 7th), after the general BPO meeting, we will hold our first Invitational Planning Meeting. ALL ARE WELCOME!!! WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOUR INPUT!!! If you were a committee head last year, please plan on attending.
