🎨 Artist Spotlight: Zane Pinson ✨

πŸ“ Meet Zane Pinson, a returning Art Walk vendor and a deeply engaged member of Huntington's creative community. Zane is a founding member of HACkS (Huntington Artist Collective and Studios), a member of the Bible Camp art collective, and the creator behind Jewels in the City. Through his work, he explores and celebrates the people, places, and stories that make Huntington unique. πŸ™οΈβœ¨

πŸ’‘ What Inspires His Work:
The city of Huntington serves as both subject and inspiration for much of Zane's work. He is drawn to the overlooked details, hidden beauty, and everyday experiences that often go unnoticed, inviting others to see their surroundings through a new lens.

πŸ› οΈ Art Process:
Working with ceramics, found objects, and mixed media, Zane documents and interacts with the world around him. His pieces transform ordinary materials into meaningful works of art that reflect a strong sense of place, community, and curiosity.

🎨 Artist Spotlight: Justin Tyler (he/him) ✨

πŸ“ Meet Justin Tyler, a returning Art Walk vendor and the creator behind Jiggleprints! A Marshall student, Marshall employee, husband, and father of two, Justin combines technology and creativity to create unique 3D-printed pop art inspired by music, movies, and cryptids. πŸŽ΅πŸŽ¬πŸ‘£

πŸ’‘ What Inspires His Work:
Justin's work was inspired by the iconic band-logo mirrors that could be won at the Regatta in the 1980s. After his beloved Poison mirror broke, he set out to create a more durable version of the art he loved. He's still a little sad about the mirrorβ€”but the result was an entirely new creative venture.

πŸ› οΈ Art Process:
Using ultra-thin layers of colored PLA filament, Justin carefully blends and mixes colors to create detailed, slightly three-dimensional art prints. His work features everything from album covers and movie posters to legendary cryptids, all brought to life through the precision of 3D printing.
