What a fantastic time at the Barbershop Jamboree!

We were honored to spend the evening with our friends from neighboring choruses, sharing our love of barbershop harmony and making music together.

Some of the highlights include listening to EKHO chorus, various chapter quartets (some with substitutes), some pickup quartetting—mixing voices from different choruses, meeting new friends, and creating those unforgettable ringing chords that make barbershop so special.

The day was filled with laughter, fellowship, and great singing, reminding us how strong and connected our barbershop family truly is.

The event was also bittersweet as we said goodbye to a cherished member who is retiring from active singing. Your years of dedication, friendship, and contribution to our chorus have left a lasting impact. While we'll miss seeing you on the risers, your legacy and the memories we've shared will continue to resonate for years to come.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the jamboree such a memorable event. Here's to the friendships we've strengthened, the music we've shared, and the harmonies still to come!

We had a great “A Ca****la in the Park” event last Saturday during Huntington's "Art in the Park". We sang for nearly 2 hours to folks as they walked by looking at all the wonderful art on display.

But the best part – what “A Ca****la in the Park” is all about – we had 10+ folks step up and sing with us! We were able to teach 10 different passersby how to sing a ca****la barbershop music and they loved it! Even Huntington's Mayor Patrick Ferrell stopped by and sang with us!

Stay tuned for our next “A Ca****la in the Park” event and you can learn how to sing a ca****la too.

Also… let us know if you’d like us to come to a park near you!

On this Memorial Day, we'd like to share the lyrics of one of our special songs - Mansions of the Lord.

To fallen soldiers let us sing,
where no rockets fly nor bullets wing.
Our broken brothers let us bring
To the Mansions of the Lord.

No more bleeding, no more fight,
no prayers pleading through the night.
Just divine embrace, eternal light,
in the Mansions of the Lord.

Where no mothers cry
and no children weep,
we shall stand and guard while the angels sleep.
All through the ages safely keep
the Mansions of the Lord.

The Voices of the Valley gives special thanks to all of our active and inactive service men and women for your service to our Nation.

Do you enjoy singing? Ever tried singing a ca****la? The Voices of the Valley, Huntington's premier a ca****la performing chorus is hosting a "Try Us Out Night" on Thursday, May 14th at 7:00 at their rehearsal hall located at 836 4th Ave in downtown Huntington.

Anyone who enjoys singing is welcome to come visit and try your hand at a ca****la singing. No one pounding on a piano. No musical tracks. Just pure human voices making awesome music.

We sing songs like "Sweet Caroline", "Seven Bridges Road”, “Somewhere Over The Rainbow" and even current songs like "Shut Up and Dance". We sing songs you can dance to, not obscure classical music.

We sing religious songs for churches, the National Anthem at ballgames, and perform all across the Tri-state area. We are focusing on our next show (In October) which will feature the music of Disney!

We are open to anyone who likes to sing and enjoys having fun doing it! No age limits, no gender limits, no auditions, no singing or music experience necessary.

If this sounds like something you’d like to do, come to our “Try Us Out Night” at 7:00 Thursday, May 14th at 836 4Th Ave in Huntington. And believe me when I say, the hardest thing you will ever do with the Voices of the Valley is walk through our door that first night!

See you there!
