PLACES & SPACES, curated by Nancy Macina is a contemporary exhibition examining how environments are observed, inhabited, and redefined. Through a focused selection of works, it explores physical and conceptual spaces, inviting viewers to reflect on the relationships between place, perception, and experience. The exhibition celebrates the 55th anniversary of the Women In The Arts Foundation, Inc. The Theater for The New City is the perfect venue to get the year going.

There I am at the Heckscher Museum reception last night and lo and behold the president of women in the arts foundation, Helaine Soller was there and here she is holding up the museums publication for October - November - December 2024 with a placed my painting on the cover! I am honored and thrilled. And was so good to see Helaine, who is an excellent artist.

Join me for my watercolor workshop July 6-30 a Watercolor Workshop Series
With Artist Helaine Soller
The 4-session series is designed for both beginners and anyone furthering their craft. It is an exploratory approach to the watercolor medium. Helaine encourages the development of individual style and expression. Participants have use of the garden and the air-conditioned workshop annex.
The workshops are suitable for tween, teens and adults. All levels are welcome. You can attend any or all sessions. Painting supplies are provided. There’s iced tea on hand for the summer afternoons. The workshop takes place on 4 Tuesdays in July, from 1-3:30 PM.
July 9, 16, 23, 30 & August 6 is student exhibit!! Iced tea🧋and cookies 🍪 throughout.

The series is offered @ $50/ $40 for students & members. Space permitting, single session attendance is available $15/$12 per session. Advanced registration is encouraged.
