Hello Friends;

Please join us for a live broadcast from LockeDown Studios, Tuesday, August 18, 6-8 PM! We’re excited to share the night with Natalie Van – the duo. LockeDown Studios will be filled with lots of great music! The night will showcase original music, with some cover songs. Thanks for joining us! Here’s a link to the Quealy YouTube channel where the show will be broadcast live; https://www.youtube.com/ and here’s a link to the Tuesday night show, https://www.youtube.com/live/CKyDFDgMn68.

GUEST ARTIST INFO
Natalie Van is a California-born singer/songwriter who turns everyday emotions into cinematic stories. Inspired by TV shows, films, and books, she blends theatrical flair with heartfelt pop, creating music that feels both intimate and larger than life.

Her sound draws from artists like Lizzy McAlpine, Billy Joel, Sara Bareilles, and Norah Jones—balancing tender vulnerability with sweeping, cinematic arrangements. After releasing her debut EP, Chapter One: The Simple Sessions (2024), Natalie began working on her first full-length album, arriving in 2026, which expands her sound into new pop territory while staying rooted in the storytelling that defines her music. The album’s first single dropped in February 2026, kicking off a new chapter in her creative journey.

She holds an A.A. in Music Performance and a B.A. in Music Business, and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Songwriting at the Los Angeles College of Music. With each song, Natalie invites listeners into worlds where imagination, emotion, and melody intertwine—spaces that linger long after the last note fades.

The Duo is a musical partnership between Natalie Van and Seth Rivera, bringing together vocals, keys, and cajón. Natalie provides the vocals and plays keys, while Seth primarily plays cajón and occasionally switches to keys while Natalie sings. Together, they perform a mix of covers and original songs, creating a fun, versatile sound that can move comfortably between intimate and upbeat performances.

Hope you can stop by for a listen!

Peace & Love, Jim, Nola, Locke, Dena and Monty too

Hello Friends;

Jim has been burning the candles at both ends lately between studio and live gigs and will be cutting back on his live schedule a bit. Still playing Thursdays at Graceland, 8-11PM, continuing the Fridays and Saturdays at Captain Jack’s, 8-11 as well as two Wednesdays a month at John Wayne airport but will be discontinuing Sundays at Graceland.

On another note, please check out Jim's new project on Spotify; recording and posting 1 song every day in 2026! They are all of your favorite Jim Quealy Cover songs; the Spotify page is under Jim Quealy Covers and here's a link; https://open.spotify.com/artist/23DxzRhVMApdHJP9YECiTH?si=loeoQk97STSih00jkSZveA
