Great 1st Plein Air class this past Saturday! This group is already a fun group-I can't wait to see how they grow their skills. I'm teaching "Plein Air Painting for Beginners" on Saturday mornings. If you missed this one there will be more chances to learn this summer and fall.

Also, there is an Intermediate plein air class beginning next month. If you have some plein air experience but want to improve your skills you are welcome to join. Feel free to DM me if you have questions about joining.

The best feeling an artist gets is delivering a painting and having it bring tears one's eyes. I was so happy and humbled to get that reaction today when I delivered this commission to the homeowner who just sold their Hopefully every time they look at this painting it bring back all the amazing memories they had raising their family there.

Working with my students one-on-one and watching their skills grow is so fun for me. I love seeing the excitement in their eyes with each new accomplishment and hearing about the positive feedback they get from their families.

Had a hard time working today. I woke up with an insane headache. Days like today really pull out the stubbornness of not giving up. Definitely not my best work but I'm happy to have done it.

Day 9 - "Moka Pot" oil painting. This coffee pot has been with me since 2005 and since my nespresso machine froze up has been my go-to coffee maker again. Bonus- no capsules means it's better for the environment too!

Day 8- "My Eye" oil painting. After looking into my own eye that long I felt like I was about to watch the twilight zone. (Remember the opening scene with the eyeball floating by!?) Lol 😵
