Have you ever watched the moon rise?
At what moment did you stop looking at one thing and start looking at another??
At what point did the whole picture become everything???
This was one of the most magical moments that I can remember.
it was 9:17 PM and we were wondering where the moon was!
As we stood there
Its majestic beauty made itself known.
It was one of those moments that made me gasp.

The Old Timers picnic in Tehachapi is one of my favorite events!!
A gathering of TRUE BLUE Tehachapians.
The ones who made the town what it is.
The ones who still appreciate the history behind our special town.
We are losing a lot of our great people.
That’s why I think it’s important to attend this event from now on.
My dad used to take me when I was a little girl.
Was fun seeing his teachers and the people who knew him when he was a little boy.
