We are sorry to announce that the 2021 Central Pa Rodeo will be cancelled this year due to ongoing restrictions around gathering limits due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While we are seeing a loosening of the restrictions as the country makes great progress fighting the pandemic, it is still not enough to make this year’s rodeo financially viable. We hope to be back in 2022. Keep following the page for the latest information on next year’s Central Pa Rodeo.

Although we were unable to hold the rodeo event this year, St Matthew School is still offering the popular Beef Raffle! The updated drawing date is October 15, 2020. Chances are $5 each.

Starting next weekend following Mass, St Matthew School students will be selling Beef Raffle Tickets for $5. Drawing is October 15th. Don’t miss your chance to win and to support our school!!

Central PA Rodeo statement:
As we all know this year has been like no other in more ways than one. We are living through an unparalleled moment in history. For most of us these unprecedented times have hit our businesses and our personal and family lives hard. The reason why the Central PA Rodeo started in 2004 was to support our families and communities. Obviously, we want to put on a great show year in and year out; but the last thing we would want to do is put any of our volunteers, attendees, participants and vendors at risk. Our event is built on the support of our communities and we want to do everything we can to ensure their safety and health because they remain our number one priority.

So, in light of our focus on the public health and well-being of our communities we have made the hard decision to cancel the 16th Central PA Rodeo that was to take place on June 19 & 20."
Canceling the 16th annual Central PA Rodeo was a very difficult decision for fans, volunteers, exhibitors, rodeo athletes, donors, vendors and everyone involved but had to be done in an effort to respectfully comply with the public officials’ directions but most importantly to keep the safety and well-being of our communities at the forefront.

We want to sincerely thank our rodeo committee, staff and volunteers who make the rodeo possible and with the help of many we intend to continue to fulfill our mission of providing a great Christian-based education to any child. Central PA Rodeo thanks you in advance for your support and understanding and we look forward to seeing you at the fairgrounds in Huntingdon on June 18-19 2021.
