Tomorrow is almost here for a beautiful night of gathering in the park for free music, food, drinks, and fun for the kids. Dress up for the season, it’s Halloween!

Hauntingburg formerly known as Haunted Huntingburg is here!!

🎃With a few little changes you won't want to miss this event.
Change #1️⃣: thanks to some dedicated visitors- was our name.
Although we loved Haunted Huntingburg when we met the crew of people that came with shirts made specifically for our event - we took their advice!!! Thank you 😉

Change #2️⃣: the day. We moved our event from a Saturday to Friday night. We know the weekend can be busy and we want this to be a easy decision, so we moved this event to mimic our enjoyable 4th Fridays.
Similar layout: Free Music, bar service, food trucks, inflatables for the kids, and fun for everyone.
A little twist: this event will go from 5 til 9pm with music but shortly after 9 we will show a free movie to the community. Don't miss it!

6:30 - 9 pm - Stage Headliners: Dayne & Friends
9 pm - Free Outdoor Movie: Practical Magic

What a great night!
Mary Beth Zoglman Music opened our night, a local favorite with a beautiful voice.
Cam Thompson hit the stage running, an up and coming artist that has such a great stage presence. We’ll see him again!
Tyler Reese Tritt closed out our show and blew us all away!

NO COOLERS allowed at 4th Fridays but don’t worry, D.O.R.A. is the Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area and the City of Huntingburg is a DORA approved community!
What does this do for our 4th Friday events: It allows you to get a drink using a DORA cup from any of our participating venues: Mama T's Italian Steak House , Gaslight Pizza & Grill, Fry'D and Chop'D, Yard Goat Artisan Ales and Butcher & Barrel and joining us at Market Street Park for the live music, food trucks and fun for everyone. NO COOLERS will be allowed into the event but we will also have Gaslight Pizza & Grill onsite with a full bar so no worries. As well as commemorative DORA cups for $5.00/each.

We are ONE of only ELEVEN communities in Indiana granted this opportunity!
So what's this mean? Well, here's the legal jargon:
In accordance with Indiana Code 7.1-3-31:
o A person may consume an alcoholic beverage purchase from a designated permittee or vendor anywhere within the refreshment area boundaries, subject to the right of any retailer permittee or business within the refreshment area to refuse to allow individuals enter the licensed premises or business with an alcoholic beverage.
o All Designated Permittees and Vendors may allow a person to exit the designated permittee's or vendor's licensed premises with not more than two (2) open containers of an alcoholic beverage at a time. The contents of an open container may not exceed the following:
*B**r or flavored malt beverages of not more than sixteen (16) ounces.
*W**e, c***r or hard seltzer of not more than twelve (12) ounces.
*A mixed drink of not more than ten (10) ounces containing not more than two (2) ounces of liquor.
*A sign must be posted at each exit of a designated vendor and on the licensed premise of a vendor. Initial signs will be provided by the City, and additional signs can be ordered through Wood's Printing.

Each participating merchant's/restaurant's offering alcoholic beverages have signage on their door or window and you'll also see signage along the boundary of the Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA).

And ALWAYS have a designated driver when you're consuming alcoholic beverages!
