This year, CMS reached more people than we did in our first four years combined... That one is still a little hard for us to believe.
What began as a small summer Shakespeare company in the Catskills has grown into something much bigger: a professional Main Stage, a tour traveling into schools and communities across New York, workshops and education programs, free and reduced-price performances, and year-round community events.
This spring alone, our tour reached 2,146 people, traveled 1,735 miles, and brought Shakespeare to communities across 9 New York counties. We then reached another 1213 through our Main Stage Production of Much Ado About Nothing. Not to mention all of our outreach, Backroom Shakespeare collaborations, workshops, and more!
And we're not interested in stopping here.
On October 10, our Fall Benefit brings our community together to celebrate how far we've come, and helps raise the money that makes the next chapter possible.
More artists. More students. More communities. More extraordinary theatre made right here in the Catskills. Come celebrate what we've built. Help us build what's next. 🍂
