🍂 Our Third Annual Fall Benefit is back October 10! An afternoon of eating, drinking, celebrating, and taking in the Catskills at absolute peak leaf-peeping season.

Come hungry, grab a drink, bid on some very good things, catch surprise performances from CMS artists, and settle in around the fire pits as the afternoon goes on.

And, for the first time, everyone there will be the very first to hear our 2027 season announcement!

And with that… the tent comes down on Much Ado About Nothing. This year was filled with countless standing ovations, hilarious happenings on stage and off, and the most incredible team.

Thank you to every creative, supporter, contributor, patron and team member involved in this process. Theater is a team event, and we have the best team.

This marks the end of our SEVENTH season. We have big dreams for what’s ahead, and can’t wait to share it all with you. Much love from all of us at CMS ❤️

Parting is such sweet sorrow 💔 Today at 3:00 PM, we present our final performance of MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING.

There are so many people we have to thank for making this production possible. Our remarkable cast, dedicated crew, creative team, sponsors, patrons, and every person who helped bring MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING to life. Thank you for your talent, passion, and tireless hard work. This production was truly a labor of love, and it wouldn't have been possible without each and every one of you.

Conner is more than an extraordinary director, he's a dear friend of the company whose ability to connect classical texts with contemporary society brings a fresh and dynamic vision to Shakespeare’s comedy.

When he's not under the tent with us, Conner serves as the Associate Director on the acclaimed West End production of MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, which transfers to Broadway this fall.

Ticket sales alone cannot cover the cost of producing professional, nonprofit theater. Thanks to the support of these incredible organizations, we're able to pay our artists a living wage, keep ticket prices affordable, offer free community programs, and continue bringing high-quality theater to the Catskills. Their support is an investment in our shows, our artists, and the cultural life of our community.

One of the best parts of seeing live theater in the Catskills is making a whole day of it. Bring a picnic and enjoy the beautiful green surrounding our tent before the performance. Pack a blanket, camp chairs, a cooler, or whatever makes your evening comfortable, then settle in and soak up the fresh mountain air before the curtain rises.

The grounds open for picnicking at 6:00 PM before evening performances and 1:00 PM before Sunday matinees. We also have a designated area where you can store your picnic gear during the performance.
