We have out done MOTHER NATURE for 3 different weekends this year. That Bi+c # got even Saturday. You know what... we're ok with it. Despite having a FULL pit... and MANY apologies to the racers who SHOWED UP... 99% knew we gave it our ALL! We FAILED... yep, how many will admit that? Despite disappointment... WE MADE THE MOST OF IT... and stayed the course to get to have FUN and get to know our racers who stayed for SUNDAY! When we say THANK YOU... or WE APPRECIATE YOU... it's genuine. When we tell you... DO BETTER... thats genuine too. Because we SEE YOU... and see that potential! We ARE planning to make up this BOTTOM BULB Race August 22nd! MARK YOUR CALENDAR NOW! More info to come! Again... HOW AMAZING IS THIS!? Just ONE MORE reason we are PROUD to be an IHRA Sanctioned Track! While we can't donate in those digits... it's always been important to us at HCD to do what we can, where we can, when we can, for our community and people. Any help, big or small, is still help... it's a blessing to be aligned with an organization like IHRA... ain't no one getting $10M from HCD😅🤣 BUT... we always do the best we can, when we can, with what we have... and will continue to do so!💙💛

IHRA Makes $10 Million Donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Strengthening Commitment to Meaningful Community Impact

MEMPHIS, TN — The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA), under the leadership of owner Darryl Cuttell, has made a $10 million charitable donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, reinforcing IHRA’s commitment to serving communities not only through entertainment and shared experiences, but through support that truly changes lives.

Earlier today, IHRA leadership had the opportunity to tour the St. Jude campus, gaining firsthand insight into the hospital’s groundbreaking research, patient care programs, and the compassionate environment that supports children and families from around the world.

In addition to the donation, IHRA announced its intent to collaborate with St. Jude on future fundraising initiatives designed to expand awareness and generate additional support for the hospital’s mission: ensuring that no child is denied treatment based on race, religion, or a family’s ability to pay.

“This donation is made on behalf of IHRA, but it is also deeply personal to me,” said Cuttell. “I lived in Memphis for a period of my life, close to St. Jude, and through friends who were medical providers there, I heard firsthand stories of the compassion, innovation, and hope that define this extraordinary institution. Touring the facility today further reinforced just how impactful their work truly is.”

For IHRA, the partnership reflects a broader philosophy of community engagement.

“Our events bring people together and create memorable experiences for families,” Cuttell added. “Partnering with St. Jude allows us to deepen our impact — supporting families not just with moments of joy, but with meaningful treatment, care, and hope when it matters most.”

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is internationally recognized for advancing cures for childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases and for freely sharing its discoveries with the global medical community to improve care worldwide.
