The Texas Dancing Dolls Dance Line is a organization that promotes high self-esteem, determination, persistence, high academic achievement, community involvement, the importance of health, etc. We will aim to do more than dance but build a sisterhood & show our little ladies how to build healthy & lasting friendships! The name Dancing Dolls is borrowed from my alma mater Washington Marion Magnet H
igh School in Lake Charles, Louisiana and my sister's alma mater, Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, which is the original home of the well renowned Dancing Dolls. The Dolls plan to participate in parades yearly (throughout the state of TX and some out of state), as well as area football and basketball games. We also plan to participate in the MLK yearly celebrations and parades. I am recruiting volunteers and supporters which include parents, friends, choreographers, or young ladies from our area high schools with dance or majorette experience. All girls that are interested will be admitted. We will have someone working with the different age group if there is a large response. As of now I have set the admission age at 5 yrs of age but if you think your daughter will participate we will work with her! Email me @ [email protected] or call me @ 281-838-2696!!!!
