I hope you're having the best weekend!

I got up early today to shoot the sunrise at Roht Marine

Was way too tired from that so went to Rainbow Beanery's pop-up at Tufts Library in Weymouth. They were celebrating their new Fall drinks. I got the Brunch Queen and it was fabulous. You can really taste the quality of the fresh roasted espresso beans from Atomic Coffee Roasters out of Peabody. Damn are they good.

Then we bumped into Harriet who was grabbing her caffeine jolt before heading into her Weymouth Garden Club meeting at the library. Thanks to ALL the garden clubs of the South Shore for making everything look so beautiful.

That's what I'm up to. How about you??

We just became instant regulars at Roht Marine

If you're like me you drive over that gorgeous 3A Littles Bridge and bask in the beauty so often.

Maybe you're even like me and wonder, what's going on down there? Holy crud, a lot.

Erich's Clam Shack is serving up what might be my personal favorite fried clams. There's something a little different and crunchier about the light breading and I love it. The fried shrimp were phenomenal too. Fried seafood... but it didn't leave us feeling like a house. The fried scallops looked money too - any reviewers out there want to let us know how they are? And the fish & chips?? I'm curious.

One of the most beautiful views you'll find, a relaxed vibe, and FRIENDLY PEOPLE!!!

And we'll see you in the West Indies. Let's gooooooo is right my lobster trap phone dude. Let's go. And we'll go back for more Roht Marine magic really, really soon. Thank you to everyone who was so kind to us - staff AND customers. (I met so many SSS watchers here, thank you. You guys make us feel really special.) ❤️🤘

An Ode to Public Art on the South Shore.

Where's your favorite - big or small?

Dave from the Frame Center and I want to highlight them all and we start in Hull at The Parrot in Hull where Emma Richardson from House of Art in Hingham and Brian Houlihan teamed up with madly talented UK artist Nathan Bowen (street artist) for some visually striking, Parrot-adorning, vibrant pirate art.

Here's the story. I'd like to thank Brian as well for supporting the arts. And for giving Hull such a warm welcome. I live here in Hull and the massive parrot mural on his building is like a nice "welcome back" or to me, "welcome home," and I love it every time I get back to Nantasket. Thank you to Nathan, Emma, and Brian for adding to that.

And thanks to Dave, for bringing people together on the South Shore, and always doing everything he can to support the arts. ❤️🤘🏴‍☠️

I've been waiting for this one for a while: Hardly Saints Donuts.

I've been obsessed with them since they started attracting HUGE lines to its vintage donut truck. And I watched and watched like a creep. And finally Chris from The Genesis Fit brought me here like a falcon in a bag.

They're hand-kneaded with LOVE at Hardly Saints and the Boston Cream is legendary - no pudding mix here, made from scratch.

Top seller is the brown butter glazed which sounds heavenly. The oddest flavor they tried (and loved) was the sweet savory cornbread brisket donut. Let’s gooooooo.

Now... what's YOUR Hardly Saints order?? TELL ME. 👊❤️🤘🍩

New Beyond the Menu! The service industry was out in full force for the Land and Sea Provisions and DrinkThat Espresso Martini Soon-To-Be-Annual Golf Tournament and dinner at to benefit A Voice For Mikey Autism Foundation.

Alex from Land & Sea takes us behind the scenes. To everybody I met that day along the way, SO nice to meet you!! You were an awesome, fun bunch.

Land & Sea and Drink That value your partnerships and friendships immensely. I just made that up but I'm sure they agree. :)

We were invited out by Shovel Town Brewery in North Easton. Kristin and I used to LOVE going to Shoveltown!! We moved Lilly back into Stonehill College a couple weeks ago so we went back to see how things are starting for her and take her out for a bite!

The beer is fresh, the vibes are friendly, the weekly events are fun: Wednesday Music Bingo, Thursday Open Mic, Friday Trivia, and live music sprinkled throughout the week. Full menu, Mug Club, great outdoor seating, great merch, and come check out that mural! Thanks for the invite Shoveltown!
