We were created in the image of our Creator, and the creativity of our Maker is at play in us, built into the human spirit. Forgiven Forge is a group of people interested in blacksmithing and bladesmithing together. We meet for a short, relevant devotion and of course to learn and practice the art of blacksmithing to the glory of God. Open Forge Meetings, or 'Hammer In's" are held the seconds and

fourth Saturdays of the month (typically at 10:00). There are two locations: for the Kansas group the location is Pastor James' Workshop next door to Lone Star Friends Church. For the Iowa group the location is Nelson Pioneer Farm and Museums' historic Clark Blacksmith Shop. We hope you come use your God given creativity and chase transformation with us! Paper copies are usually kept on hand at the event, but it doesn't hurt to let me know you will need one. It is not needed to just to come watch, but must be signed once prior to participation. It is worth a look in advance, even if only to make sure you have the proper information, understand the workshop safety rules and adhere to the dress code.

Blessings on your Thanksgiving festivities with family! I made this video of my first time speaking at HCA Chapel. I say often that my blacksmithing journey has helped bring the bible to life in fresh ways. This is definitely an interesting teaching weaving together biblical context, history, and metalwork into something different.

If I didn't get word to you that Forgiven Forge was cancelled today, and you came out to the shop to find no one here, I apologize. Couldn't have had a better reason to cancel though! We had the pleasure of installing a really nice access ramp for some really nice people who needed it.
