High Plains Music Fest Announcement
After much consideration and with heavy hearts, we had to make the difficult decision to call the festival due to lightning in the area. With the amount of electrical, sound, and lighting equipment required to put on a show of this size, it simply was not safe for our artists, crew, or attendees.
This was not an easy decision for us, nor for any of the entities involved in making High Plains Music Fest happen. As your board, we have not yet been able to meet and discuss what comes next. We kindly ask for your patience while we work through the logistics and do our best to communicate next steps to the public and to all attendees as soon as possible.
As a reminder, this is a “No Refunds: Rain or Shine Show”, as stated on the tickets.
At the end of the day, we do this for our fans who come out year after year to support live music on the High Plains — but even more, we do it for the local charities and organizations that benefit from the proceeds of this concert. Your support makes a difference far beyond the stage, and for that we are truly grateful.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we navigate this unexpected situation, and we thank you for being a part of High Plains Music Fest.
