is the instructor for the Drake School of Irish Dance in Auburn and Birmingham, Alabama, producing National and World Championship qualifiers. Amanda received her TCRG in December 2011, and graduated cm laude from Columbus State University with a Bachelor of Business

Administration degree that same month. Our students enjoy performing for the community throughout the year, and we hold an annual Spring Performance to showcase what they have learned. Dancers have the added benefit of being eligible to compete, as Mrs. Amanda is fully accredited through An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelacha (CLRG) in Dublin, Ireland, as well as the Irish Dance Teacher's Association of North America and the Southern Region. In our Irish dance classes, dancers learn solo and céili (group) dancing. We take satisfaction from the fact that dancers are taught the following in our classes: intricate footwork, musical timing and tune recognition, proper Irish dance technique, stage presence, flexibility, teamwork, rhythm, importance of working towards goals, and much more!
