For almost two years, I’ve had the joy of teaching local watercolor classes—and I’d love to have you join me for my last series of 2026.
Whether you’re brand new to watercolor or have skills that need a little “dusting off,” my classes are designed to be fun, welcoming, affordable, and encouraging.

Already taken Watercolor 1? Jump into Watercolor 2! There will be a variety of projects, with plenty of opportunities to challenge yourself.

Watercolor Classes: Skill-Building in a Supportive Creative Space

These weekly watercolor classes are thoughtfully designed for both beginning and advanced painters, offering a welcoming environment where students can learn, explore, and grow at their own pace. Each session emphasizes skill development, creative confidence, and self-care, making the class as restorative as it is educational.

Students will gain a deeper understanding of watercolor materials (paper, brushes, pigments, and water) and learn how to use them intentionally to achieve strong technique, depth, and expressive results. Whether you are new to watercolor or returning to a practice that may have grown rusty, instruction is structured to meet you where you are while offering opportunities to expand your skills.

Classes foster a safe, supportive, and encouraging atmosphere, ideal for connecting with others who value creativity as a meaningful and healthy outlet. Through guided demonstrations, hands-on practice, and individualized feedback, students will build both technical proficiency and artistic confidence.

New Class Offering.

All my Watercolor One graduates, there is a new watercolor series starting in July. This is my first time advertising it. I have two groups currently helping me proof the curriculum ❤ and we are having so much fun.

Watercolor Field Notebook and Journal. Class description below.

“How to create a Botanical Field Notebook/ Watercolor Sketchbook. Whether you are interested in documenting science, journalling or documenting things you find in nature, this course is for you.

We will divide your watercolor sketchbook into defined sections and begin filling with your creations. Bring your painting supplies from Watercolor 1, the rest will be provided first day of class. A new paint supply set will be available first week for 30.00 if needed.

Each week we will have a botanical subject to study and paint live. You are welcome to document as much, or little as you want. No pressure, all enjoyment. We will discuss the importance of Field Artists and their historical contributions to both science and the art world.

This is a very fun class.”
