Our Teen Art Studio is back this fall—teens can come hang out and make art with us in the Phipps art studio!

Last year's program had great vibes, super creative energy, and lots of fantastic artmaking.

In Teen Art Studio, you can join a planned project, explore new mediums and techniques, or do your own thing with support from our teaching artists, Ava Del Castillo and Allison Claybaugh.

TAS meets Wednesdays from 4–6 p.m. and begins 9/9.

The program is low-cost, with additional financial aid available for families who need it.

🍂Fall Classes: the highlights! Check out these two super-creative six-week classes:
🎃Costume Creation [ages 9–12]
Halloween's coming, so come build your character. Kids design and create their own mask or costume piece using everyday materials and papier mâché. Step-by-step sculpture techniques, hands-on and a little messy, with a finished piece ready for Halloween. Wednesdays, 4–5:30pm

💦Textile Lab [ages 18+]
Explore different dyeing techniques and make your own wearable art. We'll be doing Japanese shibori, making tote bags, and playing with botanical/indigo dyeing on shirts and tea towels using locally foraged materials. No experience necessary! Tuesdays, 1–3pm
