One of my casual drawings I did recently. Really having fun making patterns^^ it's been so relaxing putting something on the TV and drawing for a few hours. Not really thinking. I will get back to the painting soon enough (I have lots of ideas!) but for now I'm going to enjoy these

Up close and personal with my doodles lately. Doing these had been making me feel more creative and motivated to draw most days. Shutting my brain off so I don't need to worry about the technical side of art. I'm having fun 😌

No plan with this one. Just felt the need to be creative and did whatever felt right as I was drawing. I tend to over complicate the art making process so this was a good exercise in going with the flow. Atm I'm unsure if I want to leave it as is or add a little more. What do you guys think?

I was inspired by the solar eclipse yesterday 😁
Chalk pastels on black paper
My area was in the path of totality. This is the first solar eclipse I've ever seen and WOW. Things like this are what make me happy to be on this earth.
On that note we did have a little mishap during. We had our cat outside with us in a cat tent, and it didn't occur to us that people would be setting off fireworks (even though they're notorious for setting them off for literally anything 🙄) . Poor thing ran out as soon as we opened it to get her out and in the house. Had to chase her a little but she's a smart one and sat and waited for me to pick her up and take her in. She's fine now but I feel bad 😢 all three of got a good scare lol

Hello friends! I've been working on something top secret (as in a certain someone here, who likely knows already, can't see any progress pics and insta won't let me block people from viewing a specific post which is DUMB). It's taken pretty much all of my creative time for a couple months now and it's so close to being finished! Very soon I will be able to post about it and I have a feeling everyone is going to love it, especially that one special person. It's not my usual style but I chose to paint this for a very special and very specific reason.
I've got some kinks to work out but I truly feel like, technically, this is one of my best ones yet. Stay tuned yall 😘

Day 26 of Inktober: Remove
1 hour pencil sketch. Inspired by a Junji Ito story that I can't remember the name of. If any of you know the one where the guy has to hold his detached head on his neck to keep living please remind me what the name is lol
So I skipped ahead since I was massively behind. I want to get through to the end and post the last prompt actually on the 31st, and the only way I'm going to do that is by skipping ahead. I'll probably go back and finish the others just for myself.
