On our way to New York city to attend the screening and award gala of our film, After, at The North Film Festival, we stopped in Hudson, New York to visit our good friend, Jeremy, at his restaurant who is also in 100 Demons, a metalcore band from Connecticut. Once there, we also randomly met another super cool guy, Steve, who regaled us with stories of Andy Warhol, Blondie, Jean Michel Basquiat, Salvador Dali, and the glory days of New York city of the 70s and little known stories about Woodstock 1969.

Wow! So cool how people who cross our paths can become our teachers.

If you are ever in Hudson, you need to visit Nicole and Jeremy's Bubba's Biscuit Bar for some delicious food. Nicole and Jeremy are also award-winning bakery owners who've appeared on Cupcake Wars, Sugar Rush on Netflix, and featured on the Cooking Channel and Food Network.

Feeling blessed!
