And just like that, our tour comes to end and we’re on our way back to the States! Thank you to all our parents and students for making this tour a huge success!! Ti voglio bene, Italia. Ci vediamo a dopo!

Day 7!
Our final day in Italy took us to Venice, where we took a walking tour, had some free time, and then had our final performance in the Chiesa da San Moise; a truly emotional concert as it was the last time our graduates will sing with the program. We’re so proud of them and the entire group for the way they handled this tour!! They’re all class acts and a joy to have spent such quality time with in this stunningly beautiful country!! Tomorrow, we head home to Hudson!

Day 6!
We traveled up the coast to the seaside town of Ravenna for a walking tour of the city, followed by some time of on our own before heading to Venice, which will be our final stop on the tour. Tomorrow we explore Venice and give our final concert of the Italy tour!

Day 5!!
Today the Chamber Choir made their way to Fano, a small town that holds a special place in our director’s heart because his Nonna & Nonno immigrated from this town. Today, the students got a chance to relax the whole day at the beach, go shopping around town, and then shared a concert with Coro Polifonico Malatestiano APS. Tonight’s concert was standing room only and a true highlight of the trip!! Tomorrow, it’s off to Ravenna and then Venice for the final two days of the trip!

Day 4!!
Today we explored the beautiful city of Florence, where we started the day with the most breathtaking view of the city, got to learn a bit about its history, and then plenty of free time to shop. The night was capped off with performance #2 at Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta in Montecatini Terme. Our students gave a brilliant performance. Tomorrow it’s off to the town of Fano for beach day, followed by a joint concert with Coro Polifonico Malatestiano APS. WE CAN’T WAIT!!

Aspettando l'Incontro Internazionale Polifonico "Città di Fano"...

Siamo ben felici di accogliere a Fano il prestigioso Hudson High School Choir, corale scolastica americana che attraverserà il Paese in un esclusivo "Italy tour".
La compagine è composta da studenti selezionati per l'eccellenza accademica unita al profondo impegno sociale, artistico e atletico.
Il Coro è guidato dal Maestro Jacob Moore: figura di riferimento nella didattica e nella direzione musicale, oltre a dirigere i cori, insegna Teoria Musicale Avanzata ed è il direttore musicale per le grandi produzioni teatrali della scuola.
