Hey everyone,

I wanted to share some important news regarding our 2024 haunt season. After much soul-searching and careful consideration, we’ve made the incredibly difficult decision not to put up our Halloween display this year.

We understand how much our display means to so many of you, and we sincerely apologize for any disappointment this may cause. This decision was not made lightly. Our family has faced significant loss and serious health challenges over the past few years, and unfortunately, this year has brought more of the same. We’re simply burned out and need to focus on our health and family.

Creating the Halloween display has always been a labor of love, requiring hundreds of hours of work and dedication. It’s something we’ve done together as a family for over 20 years, especially diving deeper into learning how to make our own props over the last eight years. However, given everything we’ve been through recently, we just don’t have the energy to do it justice this time around.

We are fairly private people, and sharing these personal challenges is not easy for us. But we want you to know that this decision comes from a place of needing to take care of ourselves so we can continue to bring joy and scares to you in the future.

While we are very sad to be in this situation, we are also trying to find some positivity in it. We are looking forward to taking this time to recharge and enjoy the Halloween season for ourselves, something we haven’t had the chance to do in many years. With such a large-scale display and 10s of thousands of dollars invested in our setup, we've always had to prioritize security and maintenance, leaving little opportunity to explore other local decorated homes, attend haunted attractions, or participate in fall events. This break will allow us to find fresh inspiration and return with renewed energy, ready to create an even more impressive experience for you in the future.

We are deeply grateful for the love, support, and understanding you’ve shown us over the years. While it’s hard for us to step away this year, we hope to return next year stronger and ready to bring our spooky Halloween magic back to all those who enjoy what we do. We are looking forward to all the new additions and wonderful times we will have in 2025. Thank you all for being a part of our Halloween traditions, and we hope you have an amazing spooky season. Always remember the true meaning of Halloween—fun, frights, and family!
