UPDATE: WATER HAS RECEDED AND THE CAVE IS CLEANED AND READY FOR TOURS, INCLUDING OUR HAUNTED CAVE TOUR, WHICH RUNS FRIDAY OCT 29 AND SATURDAY OCT 30 .COM
Unfortunately the cave flooded today…and as cool as this is, what a mess it creates for us to clean up tomorrow. How amazing though that this is exactly how the beautiful Howe Caverns was formed. In other pics you will see how our swamp creature from the Haunted Cave Tour literally became a swamp creature, with only his head above water as he got washed away.

Unfortunately with all of the heavy rain the cave flooded today, and it looks like our swamp creature has become literally just that. Tomorrow we start cleanup so the haunted cave show can continue this coming weekend. The cool thing is this is exactly how this amazing cave was formed.
