For today’s Halloween spotlight we’ll go with something old, something new

Clock Tower: Rewind for PlayStation 5 is an updated port of the previously Japan only Super Famicom (Super Nintendo) game, while the US was not introduced to this point & click survival game on the PlayStation with its sequel

The sealed Collector’s Edition we have on hand includes acrylic standees, an enamel pin, a keychain, stress ball and more!

Sticking with an older game, our third Halloween countdown title is anything but a horror game other than in title

Zombie Nation for NES has nothing to do with zombies, has no scare factor, and if it wasn’t one of the harder to find games on the system from a small publisher, it would have been long forgotten. It’s safe to say the scariest thing about this game is the price

What’s the game like, you ask? Think horizontal shooter, but instead of flying a ship you control a severed samurai head. And for those that remember Mashable, in 2005 they ranked it as the second weirdest video game of all time. That says something

Our second title in our Halloween countdown brings us back to nearly the beginning!

Released in 1982, Haunted House for the Atari 2600 would be the first console game that could be considered in the horror genre. The follow year would see such games as Texas Chainsaw Massacre & Halloween for Atari and Dracula for Intellivision, but Haunted House would be where it all started on the console end of things!

While most of our customers prefer original hardware, we do carry Classiq clone systems from Old Skool

The Black & Red Classiq II HD plays original NES & SNES cartridges and works with original controllers. Two controllers are included (one NES, one SNES) and the system features HDMI out in addition to AV out. The Grey & Purple Classiq II has the same features minus HDMI out

The Classiq III HD adds the ability to play original Genesis cartridges and includes two controllers that work on all three formats

All three are back in stock for a limited time!

We interrupt our Halloween countdown to bring your attention to a pair of Marvel PlayStation 4 titles that have been delisted from the digital storefront!

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 & Deadpool were both released by Activision in 2014 & 2015 respectively, and due to current rights holders are no longer available in the PlayStation store! Both are available now!

Forever Physical!

No better time to start our Halloween countdown than on the 13th!

We have a number of games & series to highlight over the next few weeks, starting with the psychological horror adventure game Layers of Fear for PlayStation 4!

Set after the first Word War, this first person game has puzzles & exploration galore, leading to one of three possible endings!

This title was only available physically through Limited Run in 2018, but we have one available for your spooky pleasure!

Considering how frequently we’re asked about Skylanders figures I’m surprised we never did a post featuring any

Here’s a selection of the ones we picked up over the last couple of weeks, including a number of harder to find and holiday variants!

What do we do when we have a couple of fully working systems with heavily damaged shells?

For these Nintendo 64 systems, we decided to resell them in color ways that were never commercially released!

As an added bonus, these shells allow both US and Japanese releases to work without any additional modification

These “Electric Green” and “Electric Orange” systems are a one off for us for now.
