In August 1995, Video Game Connections hosted our first gathering of local collectors in our store. Over the next eight years, what started as infrequent events grew into monthly meetings which saw attendees travel from all along the east coast to a tiny store in NJ.
While we could never hope to duplicate the magic of those events, we have spent over two years trying to come up with something to bring local collectors together, but at the same time do something different.
We think we found a contender.
Saturday, June 13th starting at 6pm: Bring a trade box, want list, or something to show off to other collectors. But most importantly, bring yourself!
And at 7pm, be prepared to participate in our first ever VIDEO GAME TRIVIA NIGHT! Grab some friends and put together a team or tackle questions solo, but prepare for a night of purely random questions covering over 50 years of video games!
Prizes for top teams as well as raffle draws are being considered, some of which will be determined by turnout, but we’re hoping this is a jumping off point and would like to see this become a monthly thing!
