Quick History Lesson!!!

Mobile,Alabama has always been a city filled with culture and a unique Musical background. Not to be confused with New Orleans,But the Excelsior Brass band is one of the oldest Black Brass Bands in the United States formed in 1883 by Afro-Creoles. They marched in their 1st parade in Mobile in 1884. Then in the 1930s came the Pope sisters,the first Black female group in the United States. In the 1940s a popular group called the " Treineers " led by twin brothers,performed around the world 🌍,Broadway and back home in Mobile @ Mardi Gras Balls. Also,I know Eric Benét and Questlove family pretty well!! Just a little Mobile Alabama pride!
